At the time of ripping, no DVD or Bluray souce is known to exist. Project notes: Cynical Hysterie Hour is only 30 minutes long – I hope that was somebody’s idea of a joke. Its four short little adventures of a group of young children, with a somewhat SD art style. In some circles it is known for its soundtrack, which was written by John Zorn. I never heard of the guy, but he’s a bit of a big deal in jazz circles. He actually reacquired the rights in 1997 and reissued the soundtrack as “Filmworks VII: Cynical Hysterie Hour” on his own record label. Unfiltered high bitrate DVD conversion is included for archival purposes.
